Fred has been the touring DJ for Xzibit, Snoop
Dogg, The Dogg Pound, Cypress Hill and many others
and has played keyboards in bands for Snoop, Cypress
Hill and Westside Connection- just to name a few.
He’s conducted the band for The Tonight
Show with Jay Leno numerous times, performed on
The Jimmy Kimmel Show, MTV Live and MTV New Years
Eve Party. An outspoken supporter of the Palestinian
movement, he is sometimes a guest on Fox news
and other radio programs. He’s currently
living in Los Angeles, and is always working in
the studio and experimenting with sound and music.
A collector of classic records and vintage keyboards,
Wreck dived into the hypnotic river of sound and
began his journey into production. A short gig
as Director of A&R at MCA Records under legendary
Bomb Squad producer Hank Shocklee (Public Enemy,
Slick Rick, and Ice Cube) gave him the opportunity
to learn the business of how records were made
and gave him the chance to work with King Tee.
After King Tee was dropped, he left MCA and was
signed to Dr. Dre’s new Aftermath Records.
After giving Tee a beat CD that was passed along
to Dre, Fred received a call from the Doctor to
come in for surgery, and Fred put in work on Dre’s
2001. At the same time, Fred was roommates with
Xzibit and he met legendary producer/keyboard
player Soopafly, who also took a beat CD of his
and passed it along to Daz n Kurupt, which led
to production on the classic “Streetz iz
a Mutha” LP and a production deal with none
other than Snoop Dogg.
Fred is currently in Dubai filming his 2nd season of HipHopna
for MTV Arabia. This is the "American Idol" of Arabia.
He’s available for special events.
